Polk County health officials say they now have 31-confirmed cases of whooping cough, up from 18 last week. Concern led 200 parents, students and district employees to get vaccinated last Thursday. KCCI reports the cases appear to be centered at three south side schools: Lincoln High, Lincoln South and Weeks Middle.
