Kellogg Residents Ordered to Boil Water

The city of Kellogg in Jasper County is now under a boil advisory. According to KCCI the problem was caused by a downtown water main break. Health officials say Kellogg residents should boil water for at least one minute before using it. Repairs are underway, the lines will be flushed and sampling done for bacteria and chlorine content. It may be a couple of days before the waters cleared for use from the tap.
