Clive Police officer John Broderson took the stand in his own defense today at his trial for assault with intent to commit sexual abuse for allegedly touching a woman during a party. He told the court the woman involved didn't say no when he touched her leg, and that he was flirting with her. KCCI reports other witnesses testified that everyone was drinking and that it looked like Broderson and the woman were flirting.
