Des Moines police have arrested and charged 32-year old Richard Polak of Nebraska with homicide for August's murder of Charles Freeborn. Detectives interviewed Polak shortly after the murder, but it took another few months to bring the case together. The Des Moines Register reports someone fired into the house Freeborn was visiting in Des Moines. There's no word on the motive.
