A former Scavo High School student's suing the Des Moines School District, and school's principal for doing nothing while another teacher, Kenneth Rettler, made sexual advances towards her. Josephine Stevens, alleges Rich Blonigan and at least one other teacher knew she was alone in Rettler's classroom, with the door locked-a violation of school policy. Stephens ended up pregnant, and Rettler was fired over allegations of an inappropriate relationship with Stephens.
