An Indianola woman was still in jail last night, charged with several identity theft cases. KCCI reports that West Des Moines Police arrested 37 year old Shelley Bridges, charging her with 40 counts of ID theft. Police said several people called them saying they'd received credit cards they didn't sign up for, and charges on the cards. Police said some of the victims are volunteers at the women's prison in Mitchellville where Bridges has been a frequent guest, and while they have to show ID, Bridges would not have had any access to that info. She's was lodged in the Polk County Jail.
