Bd of Regents Considered Tuition and Fee Hikes

Although the numbers could change, based on what the legislature does, Iowa's Board of Regents next week will consider raising tuition 3.75% next for state residents attending the three public universities. The Des Moines Register reports the U of I would raise fees 3.75%, Iowa State's tuition and fees would go up 3.2%, and University of Northern Iowa would only raise fees-bringing the total hike there to 3.88%.
