He thought he was doing a good deed, but all Alam Mohammed got for his trouble was...robbed. Mohammed says he was in his room at the Royal Motel on Douglas Avenue in Des Moines Monday night when two women knocked on his door and asked for water. As they walked in, a man appeared and punched Mohammed in the face, while the women took 40 dollars from his pants. Mohammed says he let the women in because they were friends of a neighbor.
