A man found dead in a West Des Moines church parking lot appears to have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Police say James Twadell of Omaha was using a charcoal grill to stay warm inside his SUV Friday night. Twadell was in Des Moines for a tree trimming job at a home near the church. Unable to find a campground, Twadell opted for staying in his SUV in the parking lot. His body was found Saturday night after he didn't show up for work earlier in the day.
