Seven Des Moines neighborhoods are going into city programs that upgrade housing and improve parks, sidewalks and streets. The Des Moines Register reports Gray’s Lake, Lower Beaver and Martin Luther King Jr. Park are going into the Neighborhood Revitalization Program to help stabilize and improve residential areas. Beaverdale, Capitol East, Capitol Park and Woodland Heights will be part of a new program that updates improvement programs over a decade old.
