A four year old's alive today, thanks to his bicycle helmet. KCCI reports that Chad Dobbs, 4 year old Eli Dobbs' dad said Eli was riding his bike when the neighbor's truck rolled down the driveway, running over Eli and shattering his bicycle helmet. Chad said the only thing intact was the strap that holds the helmet on his son's head. Urbandale Police said the neighbor's truck had been knocked into neutral, causing it to roll, and hit the child around 5 p.m. Saturday. Eli had a few scratches when it was over, but was not seriously hurt.
