The crash is being investigated, but fellow motorists are being credited with saving a trucker who was trapped in his burning rig. It happened in Council Bluffs on Interstate 29 around 9:15 Sunday morning when the trucker hit a bridge support. Fire officials said the crash ruptured the truck's fuel tanks, and the fire that ensued was fueled by crates of fruits and veggies. The driver, from Pennsylvania, was pried out of the vehicle.
