New Report Says Iowa's Bridges Are a Mess

A report from Transportation for America says Iowa has the third worst bridges in the nation. The report says just over 24%, or 358 bridges in the Des Moines Metro are structurally deficient, with an average of six drivers crossing one of those bridges every second. 22% of Iowa's 24,000 plus bridges are considered 'deficient,' but state officials say none of them are in danger of imminent collapse.
