Gov. Branstad's got a town hall in the auditorium of Ankeny High School this evening. It's on Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds’ education blueprint, “One Unshakable Vision: World Class Schools for Iowa.” The Ankeny meeting is part of a series of town halls on education. According to the Des Moines Register the plan calls for among other things, setting clear expectations and fair measures for student learning, and nurture innovation in schools.
