April 20th's the Annual Earth Day Trash Bash. It includes Des Moines, West Des Moines, Clive, Polk County Conservation, Metro Waste Authority, Ingersoll Business District, Water Works and the Department of Natural Resources. The Des Moines Register says the day's to give the metro area a fresh start on spring. Teams must register @ www.dmparks.org by Friday March 30.
