Yesterday afternoon, the Univeristy of Iowa’s Alumni Association’s S.T.A.T. (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) program hosted the 2012 Nearly Naked Mile.
There was no registration fee for the runners, but they needed to donate one piece of clothing to participate.
All donations went to United Action for Youth, an Iowa City nonprofit organization that offers youth development, counseling, and health programs.
