UNI President Ben Allen says the budget cuts he was forced to make will lead to a better focused and stronger institution in the long run. Appearing on "Iowa Press,", says the programs cut had low enrollment and completion rates. All;en says sticking with UNI's strong points will put the university in a better position to attracting students and faculty.
