UNI wants to cut or restructure more than 25% of its academic programs. The Des Moines Register reports Degree programs set to end: French, German, Russian, geology and geography, and Master’s programs in German, French, criminology and sociology. UNI has 288 majors, minors and graduate programs. They want to cut 23 undergrad majors, 19 undergrad minors and 16 graduate programs, and restructure 19 programs.
