Clive Police Lt. John Broderson appeared in court today and entered a not guilty plea to a charge of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. WHO-TV reports the charges result from an alleged incident at a party in January. The victim claims Brodersen inappropriately touched her underneath her clothes. Broderson's on leave until the case is decided.
