Iowa's Congressional Delegation Blasts Air Force Budget Cuts

The Air Force is getting hammered by Iowa's Congressional representatives over their plan to cut 459-positions from the Air National Guard. Cong. Leonard Boswell says the Air National Guard would get bigger cuts than active-duty Air Force units, which are more expensive, and Sen. Tom Harkin says the 132nd Fighter Wing's been recognized as one of the best in the country, and “It simply makes no sense to take away its mission.”
