As of this morning three winners will share in a record-breaking $640 million jackpot. Lottery officials in Maryland, Kansas and Illinois all said winning tickets were purchased in their states.
According to The Iowa Lottery, last night, more than 108,000 Iowans had won prizes between $2 and $10,000.
One $10,000 ticket was purchased in Shelby, another in Council Bluffs.
An estimated $1.5 billion in tickets were purchased in Iowa for the Mega Millions drawing.
The winning numbers are 2 4 23 38 46, Mega Ball 23, Megaplier: 3.
