Education Reform Plan Clears House

The State House lawmakers passed education reform this morning, pretty much along party lines, and sent it on to the Senate. KCCI reports the package has the State Education Department set new procedures for teacher and administrator evaluations annually. High school students would have to take new tests to determine if they're prepared for college or a career and third graders not reading at grade level would be held back from fourth grade.
