Yesterday, A semi crash caused a major traffic backup on Interstate 80 near Tama.
According to The Iowa DOT, the crash happened on I-80 westbound, between Exit 191: US 63 (near Malcom) and Exit 197: County Road V18 (near Brooklyn). The roadway was reduced to one lane.
The crash involved a semi that hit the cable barrier in the median.
