A woman is dead after a fire at her home in Eagle Grove. Fire crews said they were called to a home in the 400 block of Southeast Sixth Street at about 7 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters said it only took crews about 5 minutes to contain the fire. Fire officials said 50-year-old Kay Jessen was found dead inside the home. Investigators tell KKCI the home was a total loss and they don't know what started the fire.
