A University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics nurse, alleged to have accessed confidential medical records of a university football player has been allowed to resign rather than be fired. A legal agreement shows officials settled a union grievance filed by licensed practical nurse Judy Martin. The Des Moines Register reports Martin's one of five employees disciplined for allegedly violating the privacy of Iowa football players hospitalized in January with a rare muscle condition.
