Branstad Still Doesn't Want Expanded Medicaid

Gov. Branstad says he still doesn't want to expand the state's Medicaid program. It already serves 450,000 people, and another 150,000, paid for by the feds, would be added under the Affordable Care Act. Branstad says he'd prefer a state based program requiring everyone to pay something, with insurers and providers pitching in to lower costs. Democratic State Sen. Jack Hatch plans to introduce a bill to expand Medicaid.
