ISU's new solar car is a week away from starting the American Solar Challenge. Team PrISUm’s new solar race car, the Hyperion, is in New York state today for inspections and to qualify for the race. The race starts July 14 in Rochester, N.Y., and ends in St. Paul, Min. KCCI reports 18-teams are expected to compete in the 1,650 mile race.
