Des Moines School Board President and the attorney for Omaha's Board of Education knew about the emails between Nancy Sebring and an Army officer weeks before they became public, and in emails sent to the Omaha World-Herald, Sebring says they also knew they could become public record. Sebring resigned her Des Moines job, and withdrew from consideration for the Omaha position.
