Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine's named Des Moines as the Best City For Families. The magazine praises the city's schools, low cost-of-living, brief commute, bike and walking trails and regional entertainment venues. According to Kiplingers all of it allows Des Moines residents to enjoy a living standard to be envied by bigger cities.
