People appear to be taking the state's new fireworks laws seriously. KCCI reports Urbandale Police wrote two citations and responded to 18 calls, numbers down from past years. Windsor Heights, Ames and Altoona Police say they didn't write any tickets, neither did Clive PD, but they confiscated fireworks from one person. West Des Moines PD wrote 6-tickets total.
