Since the shooting at the movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, there's been a jump in gun sales, background checks, and requests for concealed weapons training in Iowa. KCCI reports gun permit applications at the Polk County Sheriff's Office were up starting Monday, and a spokesperson says they've gone from the usual 10-applications/day to 60/day over the last two days.
