Organizers of next month’s Iowa Teacher and Principal Leadership Symposium at Drake, say the event's sold out. The Des Moines Register reports 700 are expected to join the discussion of how to organize schools to let teachers be instructional leaders. Registration was open to everyone. The event will be hosted by Gov. Terry Branstad, Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds and Iowa Education Director Jason Glass.
