There's a special ceremony Thursday morning at the Department of Public Safety building in Des Moines. They're going to be renaming the building in honor of the first Iowa State Patrol officer killed in the line of duty. The new name will be the Oran Pape State Office Building Pape was 29, when he was killed during a 1936 shootout with a suspect.
