Ankeny's School Board's suing former Superintendent Matthew Wendt for fraud and deliberately misleading board members. The district wants a Polk County District Court judge to void the deal that gave Wendt over $176,000 in severance. The Board says it never would have approved the severance if they'd known Wendt already had the job as Superintendent of the Oswego, IL. School District .
