Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad added an emergency room to his holiday schedule yesterday, after he choked on a carrot after the re-dedication ceremony of the U.S.S. Iowa battleship in Los Angeles. Branstad's spokesman, Tim Albrecht, tells KCCI Branstad underwent tests and was released from the hospital. Albrecht said late yesterday afternoon Branstad was still planning to watch fireworks and visit with some family in the area.
