Congressmen Leonard Boswell and Tom Latham says the U.S. Transportation Department's approved close to $3.5-million in grants to finance improvements at the I-80/Hwy 65, Hubbel Avenue interchange. The project was proposed with traffic volumes rising near Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino. The project will update and resurface the interchange, and should take two years to finish.
