DM School Baord May Vote to Shut Charter School for a Year Tonight

Des Moines School Board's expected to discuss temporarily shutting down the district's charter school during tonight's meeting. A District spokesperson tells KCCI the proposals to close the school for one year. If the board approves, it would still need a green light from the Iowa Department of Education. The board meeting's in the multi-purpose room on the second floor of Central Campus, at 1800 Grand Ave.
