Boy Rescued from WDM Pool Dies

A 5-year-old boy who had to be rescued from the Valley View Aquatics Center in West Des Monies Tuesday afternoon has died. Hospital officials say Kaden Daniels was swimming and for some reason ended up face-down in the water too long. Another swimmer bumped into him, and turned him over to find he was not breathing. Pool staff pulled him out of the water and started CPR. Police tell KCCI they learned yesterday Daniels had died. The cause of death has not been determined and remains under investigation.
