Ankeny's annual All-City Play Day's Wednesday, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wagner and Hawkeye parks. The Des Moines Register reports there'll be plenty of thing to do for kids and adult, including Big Wheel races, basketball, tennis, an arts and crafts table, a rock wall and a fun run. Admission's free.
