A line of thunderstorms that pushed through the state overnight has caused some damage. KCCI reports the storms produced a 65 mph wind gust near Fort Dodge, nickel-sized hail in Dallas County, large tree limbs down in Webster County. Some crop damage has also been reported in Webster and Boone counties -- corn flattened by strong wind gusts. Near Badger in Webster County, a hog building was destroyed and tree limbs down after strong winds hit.
