Charges or Fines Possible in Montour Water Pressure Drop

Iowa DNR and the Tama County sheriff's office are investigating a man in the town of Montour who caused a pressure drop in the town's water system when he filled his pool from a fire hydrant. That pressure drop triggered a boil order for the entire town. Investigators say that man, who hasn't been identified by officials, could face charges or fines. Montour's Mayor tells KCCI 30,000 gallons of water were drained in just a few hours.
