A spokesperson for Gov. Branstad says there'll be no changes in the process for ex-felons to get their voting rights back. The Des Moines Register reports that process includes submitting of a credit report, paying all fines and restitution, getting a background check, and answering 31-questions. The policy's been blasted in editorials, by the ACLU and Democrats.
