Over 3,200 American flags are being placed at Gray's Lake in Des Moines as part of a 9/11 memorial. Des Moines Park and Recreation is partnering with the United States Air Force to create the Tribute Trail. Each flag represents one of the 3213 people killed in the September 11th attacks. The flags are being placed today, and will stay until Wednesday.
