Marshalltown police said a young boy was injured in an ATV crash Thursday night.
Police said the incident happened just before 9 p.m.
According to police, an ATV was traveling in the grass when the young passenger fell off the ATV and sustained serious head injuries.
The boy was air-lifted to a Des Moines hospital.
His identity and condition have not been released.
