A hit-and-run crash on Des Monies' east side early Sunday left a motorcycle rider in the hospital. Police say someone in a van hit the motorcycle near the intersection of University Avenue and East 28th Court. They said the van driver then fled the scene.
Officers said they later found the driver of the van at 2701 East Market St. They declined to identify the driver but said the person was arrested. KCCI Reports The motorcyclist, whose name has not been released, was taken to Methodist Medical Center.
