Capital City Fruit Co. moved to Norwalk from Des Moines in 1981, with 19-people. The company now employs 127, and the Business Record reports the company's planning an expansion, with a new 82-thousand square foot warehouse/office complex that will mark development of a new industrial site on Norwalk's north side. It should be finished next year.
