Ankeny's ordinance barring livestock may be getting another look from city council. The Des Moines Register reports some residents have inquired about raising poultry. City Manager Carl Metzger says if the council isn't interested in allowing chickens, the ordinance needs to be tightened to remove the opportunity for residents to ask for exceptions.
