28-year old Steven Harreld of Strawberry Point allegedly left Champps Americana restaurant at 101 Jordan Creek Parkway without paying his bill on Monday. West Des Moines Police stopped Harreld a short time later and he was uncooperative according to officers. When he took off running they used the taser to subdue him. Drug paraphenalia was also found, and Harreld is facing numerous charges including theft and forgery.
