Police Shoot Robbery Suspect

A credit union hold up in Des Moines ended in gunfire after a car chase. Police tell KCCI a man walked into the Tradesman Credit Union on Second Avenue, and handed a teller a note saying he had a gun. He was handed cash, and ran. Investigators say the suspect then carjacked a van and got on I-235. The chase ended near Hubble and Berson, where police fired several shots at the suspect hitting him at least once. He's was arrested and taken to a hospital.
