Urbandale's having its' Peace Officer Memorial Service 5 p.m. Tuesday at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, on Aurora Ave. The Des Moines Register reports the service, which is open to the public, will include a tribute to Sgt. Eric Stein of the Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office who was killed in the line of duty in April. The Polk County Sheriff, Urbandale, Des Moines and West Des Moines police honor guards will participate.
